About
He began studying piano at the age of five and later turned to composition during high school. Huang received his Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in 2023 and his Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2025, where he studied with Ashkan Behzadi and David Adamcyk.
Huang’s works have been performed by ensembles such as the Zodiac Trio, Loadbang, and the Platypus Ensemble. His recent projects involve collaborations across acoustic and electronic media, as well as interdisciplinary partnerships with performers and creators from the Jacobs School of Music.
At the center of Huang’s artistic vision lies the dialogue between cultural identity and musical innovation. His compositions seek to weave together diverse cultural influences, blur the boundary between acoustic and electronic sound, and situate musical creation within a broader social and imaginative context.
